Please note that ZIIP is compatible with Android version 5.0 and above.
Step 1: Turn on Location Services
- Go to your phone’s Settings
- Scroll down and select Location
- Tap Location Services or Advanced (depending on your Android version)
- Tap Google Location Accuracy
- Tap Improve Location Accuracy to turn it on
Step 2: Adjust App Permissions
If you have Android 12 or above:
- Go to your phone’s Settings
- Scroll down and tap Apps
- Scroll down and tap the ZIIP App
- Tap Permissions or Nearby Devices Permissions
- Make sure Nearby Devices are allowed
- If you have Android 11 or lower:
- Go to your phone’s Settings
- Scroll down and tap Apps
- Scroll down and tap the ZIIP App
- Tap Permissions
- Tap Location
- Select Allow when using the app
Step 3: Sync Your Device
- Open the ZIIP App on your phone
- Turn on your ZIIP device
- Select the treatment to sync
- The device will flash/beep three times once synced
- Start your treatment
If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the ZIIP App, then repeat the steps above.
